Starting Therapy

Therapy in itself involves a meaningful process that relies on a therapeutic relationship between you and your therapist.

The Change Talk Space provides you with a welcoming and safe space to build a therapeutic bond with me, where confidentiality and trust are the priority. It is also a collaborative process where your voice matters and you are the expert. Successful therapy happens when it is tailored to fit you, your concerns, and your goals.

What I bring is my professional knowledge and experience to support you on your journey to becoming the best version of yourself.

During your first visit, you and I will spend some time getting to know each other. During these initial visits, we will work together to set your goals for therapy. I will provide explanations of how therapy works and you are welcome to ask questions.
My practice is non-judgmental, caring and respectful. From the moment you step into The Change Talk Space, you will be able to feel the weight taking off your shoulders, knowing that you will be supported and cared for.

Individual
Counselling

Individual sessions are tailored to meet your needs. Your voice matters and is of utmost importance. There is nothing about you without you. We will work through your difficulties together, finding solutions to issues, and bringing about your healing.

Couples
Counselling

In couples counselling, we will work on healthy ways to resolve conflict. In relationships, conflict is inevitable. However, how it is resolved makes all the difference. You will be taught healthy ways of resolving conflicts, as well as better communication patterns to foster a long-lasting relationship.

Family
Counselling

Family counselling helps build a strong bond between you, your teen(s), and your adult children, that allows everyone to thrive. Here, you will learn to collaborate, empathize, effectively communicate and resolve issues with one another.

Group
Counselling

In group counselling, you fell less alone, validated, and without judgement. You learn more from a group of others who are going through similar life experiences as you are, drawing strength and encouragement from each other.
